Big County, Big Skies, Big Future

We have now analysed all of your views from the questionnaires that you returned to us as part of the second phase of the Big Counties, Big Skies, Big Future campaign.

What you have told us is that the best thing about living in Lincolnshire is the lifestyle balance that you enjoy here. You also said that you like living here because of Lincolnshire’s rural character and that the countryside is the county’s best feature.

More than 40 priorities were assessed as part of the survey, all of which have been checked and analysed.  Overall, your main priority was the economy, followed by issues relating to the environment and to communities. 

As Big County, Big Skies, Big Future moves forward, local people will see partnership working between the county and district councils, Police and NHS – to name but a few – begin to translate the campaign’s findings into action.

Lifestyle is the key and, with strong support for the priority areas set out in the survey, all agencies involved can now, with added confidence, conclude the development of a new Sustainable Community Strategy for Lincolnshire and accelerate delivery on your priorities.
